1. Purpose of the App

Shroomtastic is an AI-powered learning & collection game for mushroom enthusiasts. The app provides photo-based identification assistance, a gamified collection card library and a community forum.

2. Use at your own risk

⚠️ Caution – no substitute for experts. Identifications by AI or other users can never be 100% accurate and confuse edible with deadly poisonous species. Shroomtastic never provides consumption advice. Species marked "edible" must NEVER be eaten without in-person examination by a certified mycologist.

The operators of Shroomtastic assume no liability for damages — especially health damages, poisonings, permanent organ damage or death — arising from the use of this app or from consumption of mushrooms. Use is entirely at your own risk.

On suspected poisoning: call poison control or emergency services (112) immediately and, if possible, preserve a sample of the eaten mushroom.

3. Community rules

Forum posts are opinions of individual users and do not constitute expert identification. Insults, health-risky misinformation and encouragement to consume unverified mushrooms are prohibited.

4. Intellectual property

Photos you upload remain your property. By uploading you grant Shroomtastic the right to display them in the app and to use them internally to improve AI models.

5. Termination

You can close your account at any time via "Profile → Sign out" and have all data deleted (see Delete account & data). We reserve the right to suspend accounts for violations.
